While I have always had my hands busy in some form of creative expression, (mixed media, painting, knitting, sewing) Narrow Dog Pottery began after a lifelong love and appreciation for pottery evolved into a full-time hobby.
In my Lakewood, Ohio studio, I create and fire small-batch stoneware pieces either on the potter’s wheel, by hand-building, or slip casting.
With the exception of pieces with gold luster, all of my work is food, microwave, and dishwasher-safe.
Our family’s greyhounds are not only the inspiration for my studio name, but you’ll also find the sighthound form in some of the textured pieces I create.
